A slender rod of length L is lodged between a peg, C, and the vertical wall and supports a load, P, at end A. Knowing that L=12.5a and q=30 degrees and that the coefficients of friction for static and kinetic cases are 0.20 and 0.15 respectively at C and zero at B, determine whether the rod is in equilibrium.
